Congratulations on this monumental achievement. Stepping into the role of principal is a significant milestone, a testament to your talent and dedication. Yet, we know that with this new title comes a world of complex challenges and immense responsibility.

 

This program is the foundation. It is a dedicated partnership designed to provide the unwavering support, practical tools, and strategic perspective needed to navigate the first years with confidence and clarity. We will not give a rulebook; instead, we will empower to create a sustainable leadership practice that is uniquely owned by the participant.

Through tailored coaching and a powerful network of peers, participants will learn to transition from a teacher leader to a strategic visionary. We are here to help participants build a culture of trust, manage complex situations with grace, and, most importantly, find their purpose and joy in a role that will shape the lives of an entire community.

Target Audience

Newly appointed Principals or acting principals for more than a ten-week period.

Format of Learning

  • 10 x one-on-one executive coaching session in the first twelve months.

  • Unlimited email support from executive coach.

  • May consider the “empowered leadership program” as the principal can build their skillset while building a high performing team in the first twelve months – highly recommended.

  • Professional readings.

  • 1 x PLC meeting with all newly appointed principals in the system. (System mentors may attend)

Further Recommended Support

  • As required sessions with a professional mentor assigned by the system.

  • 2 x work shadowing sessions with the identified mentor in the first twelve months.

  • 4 x learning walks and talks in other schools within the first twelve months.

FREE ‘VAULT’ access included

Participants will have access to the online VAULT resource. The VAULT contains Pro Tips written by a Principal for Principals and leaders for any educational setting. (Value $99USD)

Time Frame

The Newly Appointed Principals program is designed to be for the first twelve months of appointment.
