EARLY CAREER TEACHERS PROGRAM (ECTP)

This twelve-month program is designed to be more than just a series of professional development sessions; it is a dedicated partnership to support early career teachers through the excitement and challenges of the first year. We know that the journey ahead

is filled with both profound joys and complex questions, and our purpose is to provide the practical tools and unwavering support for participants to not just survive, but to truly thrive.

 

Over the next year, participants will learn alongside a community of peers who are walking the same path, and all will be guided by mentors who have been where they are now. This course will move beyond theory and focus on real-world, classroom-ready strategies that will empower participants to reach every student, manage time effectively, and build a sustainable practice.

 

This program will give you the skills and confidence to turn passions into a lasting and impactful career.

Target Audience

​

All newly appointed teachers within their first two years of the teaching profession.

Format of learning

​

  • 4 x virtual professional learning session within a twelve-month period. (Total of 6 – 8 hours)

  • Unlimited email support from executive coach.

  • 1 x virtual celebration to be held at end of the fourth term.

  • 4 x workbooks to use during and after session.

  • Professional Reading.

Further Recommended Support

​

  • All early career teachers should be supported with an in-school mentor/buddy.

  • All early career teachers should be supported with the opportunity to watch others work a minimum of 4 x in their first year.

  • Schools are encouraged to establish an early career teachers PLC in school hours.

  • All early career teachers are encouraged to participate in at least one learning walk and talk a school term.

Mentors or Buddy Teachers

Principals, Line Managers and Mentor teachers of early career teachers are FREE to attend any of the virtual sessions.

 

FREE Learners’ Locker Access Included

​

This locker contains tips specifically designed for early career teachers. Topics have been gathered from early career teachers from all over the globe.

​

All registered early career participants will have full access to this valuable resource.

​

Certificate of Completion

​​

A certificate of completion will be provided to participants that attend all workshops. The certificate will

validate six hours of face-to-face professional learning.
