
Triple P Program
Target Audience:

Aspiring School Leaders: Teachers, assistant principals, or other educators who are looking to move into the leadership role of Principalship.

Current School Leaders: Principals, vice-principals, or department heads who want to enhance their leadership skills specifically to secure and be equipped for the principal's role.
Time Frame:

Designed as a ten-week cycle with the ability to tailor timeframes to suit participant.

Can be run in time of the year that best suits the school’s needs.

The program's focus on essential skills outlined in the AITSL Leadership Profiles - Leading teaching and learning; Developing self and others; Leading improvement, innovation and change; Leading the management of the school; Engaging and working with the community.

Program Overview

Principal Preparation Program (Triple P)
Step 1:

Prior to engaging with the AITSL 360 tool, the participant engages in a one-on-one professional conversation with TLS to develop a deep understanding of the purpose and scope of the Triple P cycle.

Participant engages in The AITSL 360 Reflection Tool - 360 Reflection Tool

Participant forwards AITSL full results to TLS and their supervisor upon receipt of report.
Step 2:

TLS will conduct a one-on-one session unpacking the 360-report identifying both strengths and target areas for improvement.

The session celebrates strengths and will identify at least two areas for immediate development and two long term target areas for ongoing professional focus.

The participant is encouraged to share these with their supervisor and have them imbedded into their yearly professional growth program.
Step 3:

Second one-on-one coaching session between participant and TLS.

This session will focus on short term and long-term progress, goals, and strategies to address development areas.

Participant will be equipped with knowledge and applicable key leadership strategies to further their skills in the identified target areas.

Participant will be versed in the process of professional analysis and reflection.
Step 4:

A third one-on-one coaching session between participant and TLS – the participant’s supervisor is invited to attend the session to unpack progress, success areas and ongoing key areas for professional growth.
Step 5:

Participant will receive a certificate of completion.
